What began as a love for dogs grew into a mission to help others experience the same confidence and connection with theirs.
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life—but it really started when I begged my dad for years to let me get one. When he finally gave in, I brought home a German Shepherd named Carter, and everything changed.
I trained Carter myself, and through that process, I saw firsthand what’s possible when you build the right relationship with your dog. Carter went on to become a certified therapy dog, and that experience is what sparked my passion for training. It showed me that with the right structure, communication, and consistency, dogs are capable of so much more than most people realize.
About COREY
From there, my journey only grew.
Over the years, our pack has grown to five dogs—each with their own story and personality. Millie found her way to us after being returned to a breeder. Scarlett came into my life when my relationship with my girlfriend began. Sahara took us on a road trip to North Carolina to bring home a high-drive Malinois. And Asta came all the way back from the Netherlands after I couldn’t leave a dog training trip without her.
Each dog has challenged me in different ways and helped shape how I understand behavior, communication, and what it really takes to create lasting results.
Over the past 5+ years, I’ve worked with all types of dogs, from everyday family pets to high-drive and working breeds. I’m certified in NePoPo® training and have completed shelter dog training programs through Robert Cabral. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a certified PAWS therapy handler and serve as the Youngstown K9 Toss & Fetch Team Captain.
But more than anything, what drives me is helping people.
I know how frustrating it can feel when your dog isn’t listening, when walks are stressful, or when you feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing is working. I also know how life-changing it is when that finally turns around—when your dog starts to understand you, respond to you, and become a part of your life instead of a source of stress.
That’s what I want for every client I work with.
My goal isn’t just to train your dog. It’s to give you clarity, confidence, and control so you can actually enjoy your dog in the real world. Because when that relationship clicks, everything changes.
